She was just your average New York secretary, with an exceptionally close relationship with her twin. Sure, she was lucky, but so was anyone who managed a bit of success, and her twin was an Olympic-grade runner. Life was simple. Easy. She never bothered herself wondering at exceptional turns of luck, or who her parents had been. Her brother's secret was special, but not special enough to investigate.
Then the people came--they tried to take Pietro, and hurt their friends. Wanda, Pietro, and a small group of people with little secrets like theirs banded together and fought back. Her luck changed. It wasn't just the fortunate twists of fate--coincidental timing and fortune smiling. Somewhere in the trauma of it all, she found herself reaching out...twisting reality and luck, as if it were all a game, and she were finished playing by the rules.
She's not just your average secretary anymore. The people who changed that fact will learn to regret it. Especially if those 'people' include her estranged father.

The turmoil from the revelation of special people propelled Junior Senator Petrelli into the Presidency, a fortunate twist of luck, that landed his quiet secretary as Head of Special Protection. She thwarts those who would cause chaos at the promise of finding her brother alive, and devotes all available resources to preventing another unguided, unpunished Company from rising up, and to discovering hidden facilities--searching for the one that might still hold her twin somewhere.
